After fulfilling its initial role of introducing the wonderful world of adventure to potential consumers in its first editions, the Fair now offers new opportunities for business.
Business Point is an exclusive and reserved location for business inside Adventure Sports Fair, where buyers and suppliers from the Adventure Equipment and Tourism market take part in Business Meetings, in a professional and exclusive fashion. The meetings are previously scheduled so that both exhibitors and potential buyers may plan better, offer services focused only on their products, and close deals inside the exhibition. The Business Meetings were a big hit in 2007, with over 400 meetings taking place at the Business Point.
According to participants (135 companies, which held 445 business meetings), the idea was responsible for filling a gap that was present in the Fair, for the Business to Business activities took place amongst consumers, something which did not correspond to the expectation of exhibitors, who in turn loved the idea of a business-only area.
Out of the large amount of companies registered for the meetings, the participants of the Fair were able to show their products to major Brazilian companies, such as: TAM Viagens, Submarino.com (equipment); in addition to major international companies from the USA, Chile, Argentina, Spain, and England - such as Nature & Kind, whose owner Mr. Andrew Harding said:
"The participation of my company in the Business Meetings was excellent, as was the volume of business generated. Exceptional personal service and organization. Very good event with great potential."
Exhibitor Mr. Rogério Lopes, owner of Adventure Paraty, defines its company participation as excellent: "Our first day at Adventure Fair 2007's Business Meetings was great. A great job with a great goal. The biggest and most interesting business opportunities took place in the Meetings, for we showed everyone and, mainly, to international companies how large and interesting our territory is, as well as its huge potential for businesses related to the ecotourism and the infinite modalities of adventure tourism. Congratulations!" Regarding 2008, an even larger space is being designed within the Fair, with large closed rooms, computers, simultaneous interpreter services (English and Spanish interpreters), the presence of the major and quality Domestic and International Adventure Equipment and Tourism companies, and the entire infrastructure necessary to offer much comfort and complete privacy to the participating companies.
In 2008, the Business Point will schedule meetings with buyers from all over Brazil and Latin America for the exhibitors of the equipment industry exhibitors.
The scheduling of meetings may be requested via the e-mail address paulacan@adventurefair.com.br. This is a service exclusively for exhibitors and buyers.
